naturalized citizens the opportunity to save for their future and the chance to avail of a housing loan of as much as P 2,000,000.00

WHO ARE QUALIFIED TO BECOME MEMBERS OF THE OVERSEAS PROGRAM?

Any Filipino or former Filipino citizen who works overseas is eligible to become a member of the Pag-IBIG Overseas Program by accomplishing
the Members Data Form and paying the required monthly membership contributions

HOW MUCH IS THE REQUIRED MONTHLY SAVINGS UNDER THE OVERSEAS PROGRAM?

Gross Monthly Income of Member Required Monthly Savings

US$ 1000 and below US$ 20.00
Over US$ 1000 to US$ 2000 US$ 40.00
Over US$ 2000 US$ 50.00

The member may remit or deposit either in US$ Dollars or the corresponding Philippine Peso equivalent based on the prevailing exchange rate
as of payment date.

WHAT ARE THE SALIENT FEATURES OF THE SAVINGS PROGRAM?

-Guaranteed by the Government of the Republic of the Philippines
-Tax Free Interest Earnings (No Witholding Tax)
-Fixed Interest Rate of 7.5%/annum for Peso Savings and 3%/ annum for US$ Savings
-Portable ( Even if member change employer/country of work)

Facebook 0 was originally announced back in February. Facebook has presumably been hammering out deals with carriers since then, and it has quite a few on board with more on the way.

Facebook just got a lot more accessible to international users. The social network has launched 0.facebook.com, a special mobile-only site that can be accessed free of charge on select carriers. The lightweight site omits photos but includes core functionality like News Feed, status updates, profile Walls and messaging. And most important, Facebook has partnered with over 50 mobile carriers to offer free access to the site, without any data fees.

Got a chance to watch the concert of Charice Pempengco and Billy Joe Crawford here in Dubai courtesy of complimentary tickets from my friends out there (salamat po), but unfurtunately we're not able to take some great shot of the concert basicaly because we're far from the stage and we don't have that high-tech gadget with us... hehehe... But it's been a nice experience to be in that events though we had a hard moments with the spectacular sound of the speakers that can almost explode our chest. But infairness to Charice & Billy Joe, they are really a good performer though Charice was always running after her breath... hehehe... but she is really an extra ordinary performer huh... Anyway, we had some pictures taken from the concert, I'm sorry for the poor quality of the pictures... bawi next time... hehehe... bili pa ko ng CANON CAMERA.... hehehe

Free Text Sites

Last few weeks, some of my friends felt sad because one of our favourite Free text site we're block by the UAE. Well, we got no choice but to wait and hope that one day it'll be open for us again. Thanks, because less than one month of waiting its back... You guys check it out and see if it can help your texting habit...



It is very easy to sign up an account with 160by2, just go to their website and register.On successful registration, you will receive a “password” on your mobile. Using this password and the registered username, you can logon to 160by2 and start sending FREE SMS.

Yahoo! Scam BEWARE!

Recently, I received an e-mails which I thought came from Yahoo! Customer care. As I am busy with my work in office, I responded to what the e-mail asking to me without any verification. Later at night I received confirmation e-mail to my secondary e-mail (Gmail account) that I had changed my password in my Yahoo! account which I never did. So, from that moments I lost access to my Yahoo! account and my friends called me up to ask about e-mails which they thought I sent to them. I was really mad that time. I also learnt that some of my friends was also become a victim of this scam, some even got money from there relatives... thanks atleast it never happen to me...

It is look like Authentic E-mails from Yahoo! as it has the Yahoo! header but please note that they are asking for your personal information which I think Yahoo! will never do, please take note of the e-mail address where the e-mail was originated. I had received atleast 3 or 4 e-mails with the same content but with different e-mail address, which means came from different sender.

Fujairah Trip

July 19, 2009 was declared Holiday by the Goverment of United Arab Emirates, so thousands of Expats here were happy and busy planning for 1 day get away.

And of course we're one of them! We indeed Planned... A summer Trip to Fujairah.

We started moving from Dubai at around 4:30AM - 5:00AM and we're headed north of the United Arab Emirates. Our target place is Khorpakhan beach resort in Fujairah. (Yes! in the middle of sizzling summer.)

It took two and a half hour before we reached the target place, (thanks to Google Earth.) It was really a fantastic trip, we can't even closed our eyes for the scenery around us, the mountains, the camels walking around, the sands changing the colors, and so much more to see...
